what do you all think about a 4.70 race sat night of carolina?? i have had several guys call me about this ,,after qualifying do you think the racers who were intrested could put a pot together? and maybe get a lil sponsor to sweetn the pot a lil more .. just to put on a show for the specs ..and see who might be intersted in putting a 4.70 serries together for next year .. i have told these guys about butterbean over in phenix city ..and i'm pretty sure they are gonna be making that pull once a month for that ..but these guys were currious about this in carolina .. these guys are trying to put something together for ther home track to get the car count up ..looks like a great purse for 60 miles further from jackson s.c. .. and just seeing what you guys think ? lets see how many cars we can get .. and car and driver put 50 to 75.00 up and see if orsca will match the pot and maybe get a sponsor to kick in a few hundred bucks .. G's Racing

G's Racing You can't expect people to drive 400 miles and spend 2 nights in a motel for a gamblers race. Details need to taken care of in advance for it to be a success. I hope it is because we like running the 4.70 stuff.

I hope it is because we like running the 4.70 stuff. you are right Lester that is a long pull to not know what you are racing for , we were there last year and would not mind making the trip ourselves

Would any of you be Up for a 4.30 race like Ed Hall has? Or what about a 8 (16 if we ahve 16 or more) car Automatic Pro Mod race? Its hard for me to slow down to 4.70. But i'd come to this race cause I like Carolina Dragway.

i posted for someone else .. to see what kind of car count and purse we could get up for this .. they live in carolina so its not that far for them .. lester i know you will already be there .. we were just trying to find out the response we could get from orsca and racers to see if it would be possiable ..i know its a long ride for some of the racers .. thats why we are trying to find a sponsor for this and see if orsca will contribute to it .. i think you would have more 4.70 cars .we dont hurt parts running 4.70. as for entry fee and purse do like last year we had a good car count and some of the 5.0 racers can run it to . i think some of the 5.30 racers run in the 4.70 race last year thanks
